a reader valentine

It’s been a whirlwind of a year, working through the final revisions of Happily Ever Antlers, releasing those quirky personalities into the wild in time for the holidays, and the myriad marketing and publicity obligations that go hand in hand with every new book release. There were certainly days that left me wondering when I’d find the kind of solitary hours, weeks, months I’d require to complete my next novel, but there was a bright and steady light amidst the chaos. You, my readers. So many of you have reached out, connecting with me through Facebook and letters. I am genuinely touched by your kind words and support, but, most of all, it has been such an amazing pleasure getting to know you individually.

This Valentine is for you, not only the ones who have written to me but every one of you who has committed your own precious time to reading my stories. I am honored.

These days, I am back at my keyboard, breathing life into characters new and old. The second book of The Sylver Platter series is well under way as well as a cozy mystery/adventure I’ll tell you more about at a later date. (For the dog lovers among you, you’ll have plenty to wag your tail about in both.)
