National Rescue Dog Day comes every May 20th, a day to recognize and honor these extraordinary animals. Whether celebrating your own furry friend or seeking to adopt a new one, please don't overlook the beauty, wisdom, and loyalty of senior dogs. Our Maisie Moon may have inspired a superhero's sidekick in the novel The Sylver Platter: Becoming, but in real life, she's the star of the show. Senior dogs make the BEST companions--love them for all they have to offer and spread the word. So many are given up or ignored as they get older.
